The Paralegal Studies Associate of Science Degree program can provide the academic and technical foundation to help you build a professional career as a paralegal. Our Paralegal Studies Program offers a broad spectrum of pertinent paralegal issues in the curriculum, including traditional legal research, communications, and business and computer courses.
Our paralegal training offers the additional advantage of receiving computerized research instruction using Westlaw.
Paralegal Studies Program graduates from McIntosh College can pursue opportunities within the federal and state court systems, government offices, large law firms, corporate legal departments, banks or with individual attorneys. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos114.htm), law firms currently employ about 7 out of 10 paralegals and legal assistants, offering challenging and important work in this expanding industry.

Each spring, McIntosh College is the test site for the Certified Legal Assistant Exam administered by the National Association of Legal Assistants. Students enrolled in our Paralegal Studies Program are encouraged to take the course and the CLAź Exam. McIntosh College does not guarantee third-party testing. Test requirements for taking and passing examinations are not controlled by McIntosh College but by outside agencies and are subject to change by the agencies without notice to McIntosh College.
