McIntosh Atlantic Culinary Academy Hosts Executive Pastry Chef Noble Masi

Dover, NH – (November 20, 2007) McIntosh Atlantic Culinary Academy (MACA), at McIntosh College, will kick off the 2008 Culinary Speaker Series on January 14 and welcome author and Executive Pastry Chef Noble Masi. The first session, entitled, “Baking Ingredients and Yeast Dough” is free to the public and will held from 1:30–3:00 p.m.

The author of Baking Fundamentals (Prentice Hall, 2006), Chef Masi was named Chef of the Year by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) in 1999. He earned the ACF’s Professionalism Award in 1996, and was the organization’s Educator of the Year in 1982. He is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef (C.E.P.C.), Certified Master Baker (C.M.B.), and Certified Hospitality Educator (C.H.E.).

“Our 2008 speaker series offers MACA the opportunity to share with others what we enjoy about the culinary world,” Executive Chef Jim Gallivan said. “At MACA we love to teach all areas of culinary arts, from fish to pastries.””
