Dover, NH - (November 16, 2007) McIntosh Atlantic Culinary Academy (MACA) will host the Iron Family Thanksgiving Event, in partnership with the Great Bay Chapter of the Atlantic Culinary Federation on November 18. Five families will prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dish with the help of a MACA personal chef in a professional lab kitchen environment.
After the cooking lesson, the families will dine with MACA chefs and students and return home with all the supplies they need to cook their own Thanksgiving dinner later in the week. The Great Bay Chapter of the Atlantic Culinary Federation will provide a help hotline for families to call while cooking their at-home holiday dinner.
“Thanksgiving is one of the best times of year to celebrate good food,” said Chef Murray Long, “Having the event at MACA allows us to share that.”
