McIntosh College Offers Single Course Option

"One Class" Program Invites Community Students to Join College Learning Experience

December 15, 2006 - Dover , New Hampshire -

McIntosh College will begin offering students the option of enrolling in a single class at a time without committing to a degree or certificate program. Registration is now open and classes will begin on January 8th.

"We are excited about opening up our campus to a new group of students," said Michael Hoyle, McIntosh College?s interim president "Our "One Class" program, is designed for a range of students who might want to test the waters before entering a program, as an opportunity for adult learners to take a course of interest, or for professional development." Hoyle added, "This program is an exciting way for those who are interested in kicking off the new year by expanding their interests or vocation to get into the classroom, pursue their interest, and check out the education value offered at McIntosh."

The single class offerings range from classes in business--including accounting and computer applications--to design, healthcare and law enforcement courses. Classes will be offered during the day and in the evening. Hoyle said, "Students taking the One Class course will be enrolled in classes with our full time and part time students, and will have access to the same faculty and campus facilities as all of our other students."

The One Class program builds on McIntosh College?s successful Seasoning culinary arts program, that has been offering a variety of non-degree cooking classes for the community.

Registration for the program is now open and can be completed by contacting the college at 603-750-1430 or 603-750-1488 from 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM weekdays. A complete listing of courses offered in the program is available upon request.
