Massage Therapy Clinic

Stressed out? Sore muscles? Treat yourself to a relaxing, healing massage in a private, professional setting -- at a rate that’s hard to beat.

Our Massage Therapy Students Can Become the Best ...Hands-Down
Students engaged in our Massage Therapy certificate program put their intense education and rigorous training to work at the McIntosh College Massage Therapy Clinic. Under the expert guidance of clinic Co-Directors Holly Roche, BS, LMT, and Rebecca Buell, BS, LMT, both licensed massage therapists, students practice what they’ve been taught on achy, grateful clients in a private, professional setting – at a great rate ($30 for a one-hour massage; state regulations, prohibit students to accept compensation, so all fees support the maintenance of the clinic.)

Clinic Features and Services

  • 5 private treatment rooms with quiet music help clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and pampered.
  • Treatments offered include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and acupressure.
  • Student massage therapists are trained in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, health and hygiene, health services management and ethics, and business development.
  • A faculty member who is a licensed massage therapist is onsite or available at all times for consultation.
  • Clients range from teenagers (with parent permission) to seniors; from athletes to people with everyday aches and pains; to those coping with medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis, stroke, and fibromyalgia.

Says clinic Co-Director Holly Roche, "These are highly trained students who have completed all their classes prior to graduation. We’re offering the public a really good massage at a great rate. Our private, professional atmosphere makes it inviting. Massage promotes overall health and wellness."

"Holly and Rebecca have real-world experience and do an excellent job as Clinic Directors. They've taught us to listen to our clients' needs and to be intuitive with our massage. I feel that I do a good job of listening to people's bodies and knowing where to go. I've seen clients relax under my hands as I build trust with them. I like physical contact with people's muscles and affecting changes that help them feel better. Clients tell me they're feeling better, that the tightness they came in with is noticeably less. My experience in the clinic has been great."
